On 17 June 2025, Team #38 (“Penguin Power”) will be taking off on an epic adventure across the country alongside 50 other teams in the 48th annual Air Race Classic!!
The air race is 4 days, 2500 nautical miles, and over 100 women pilots. Weather, wind, terrain and airplane performance all play a role, since the race must be flown in daylight hours. You can see the planned course and learn more about the history of this race at https://www.airraceclassic.org/.
Over the coming weeks leading up to the race, I will be posting more information, including updates on my blog. So be sure you are following me both there and on Instagram. In the meantime, be sure to bookmark this map which will allow you to see the progress of all the teams, both as they converge on the start line, and chase each other across the country during the race.
